Do you know... About Wind Crest?

This is a neat little line of kitchen vent hoods. Ventilation, especially if you install a professionally powered cooking product is very important. A gas burner does not burn 100% of the gas it is fed. There are combustion by-products such as carbon monoxide emitted plus the smoke, smells, grease and heat of what it is that you are cooking. These should always be vented out of the home. One of the problems I have, as a dealer, is that consumers don't usually think about ventilation until late in the remodeling process. By then the budget is shot and the hood suddenly needs to be CHEAP. Well, as much as I like the solid brass custom built pyramid shaped hood, which cost around $6,000, not everyone wants to go that route. The Wind CrestTM line is a nice, all in one package solution. First, their hoods are welded and polished. No ugly seams or pop rivets to look at. Next, they offer a couple of basic shapes, all of which are easy to maintain and will do the job at a reasonable price. Their most popular style is the EuropaTM. In 42" wide hoods or larger, they can place two of their 640CFM* internal blower units inside giving you 1,280 CFM's.
